Buying a Jimmy, Four Wheel Drive Question

I'm looking at a 93 Jimmy 4X4, I'm guessing that little toggle switch to the left of the steering wheel is to engage the four wheel drive? The writing is all worn off it. :P

Also, is there an indicator light to let you know whether it actually went in to four wheel drive or not?
