1992 525i oil pan leak

The problem started the last time i changed my oil. i did everything the way i normaly would, but then when i went to put the bolt back into the oil pan after releaseing all the oil, it would start to get tight and then go loose again, it would never fully tighten. When i added oil like this it now leaks. i am guessing that the lineing inside the pan is stripped. how would i go about fixing this? do i need a whole new pan?

The Nut that came on my pan was a hard plastic for some stupid reason. If yours is plastic, replace it. If thats not the case try re-threading it with a tap. Only problem is you cant get any metal shards in there, and its very to not get any in there. Take it off and re-thread it is what i would do, at least try it before spending all your money on a new one...
