Heater Problem '94 Cavalier
No heat - changed heater core, changed thermostat, still no heat. Was told to bleed the lines, so did that. When in the garage and bleeding the lines, the temperature guage went to half mark and the cooling fan kicked in. Outside the garage temp. guage only climbs to 1/4 mark and there is some heat.
What else could be done? |

Re: Heater Problem '94 Cavalier
so when you are outside or driving then it only goes to 1/4 heat. Replaced the thermy with a good one. Many people have the same problem, I think the brand durlast or somehting is the worst. Go to napa or the dealer. Might be an extra buck but it's still cheap. then make sure your collant is still good

Re: Heater Problem '94 Cavalier
My 95 cavalier's temperature gauge use to go up 1/2 way untill i took it in to replace some gaskets and new thermostat, but my heater works even better now and the temperature gauge only goes up to a little more that 1/4, is this normal or whats goin on, i taught it was normal because other chevy cars ive drove the temp. gauge goes up to a little more than 1/4 so someone please help me out.
