Re: Test Pipe

I just bought a 1994 3000GT SL and I have to order a new exhaust for it. My problem is that without researching I bought a Fed-spec front/downpipe for it. I do have a pre-cat so i know I have a cali-spec set up right now. i have only two o2 sensors one above the pre-cat and one below. Is there any way I can still use the fed-spec pipe on my car or will that not work. Can i take it to an exhaust place and have them put in that initial hole for the first o2 sensor? Or will I mess my car up in some way? Or do I have to send it back and buy the cali set up. any information will help. thanks

Send it back toget the correct one. You have 4 o2 sensors. There is one in the rear mani visible up top by the plenum, and there is one in the bottom of the rear mani.

Re: Test Pipe

cool thanks I guess it is probably smartest to just order the correct pipe. I can only find the first two o2 sensors though one above the pre-cat and one below. How much farther back are the other two.

Re: Test Pipe

Look right in behind the plenum. You'll see the rear manifold. There is a o2 toward the drivers side right there. The other is on the bottom of the rear mani/precat assembly.
