GM has a replacement slip yoke to fix the problem, but not as a recall yet.

You will not eliminate the 2/3, 3/2 clunk it's been there for years with the 4wd trucks with the 4l60e, it is caused by " tolerance stack" in the trans and transfer case, branded normal, annoying but harmless.
