Hey there Haweater i'm not sure but if you're talking
about the dealer in minndamoya {not sure of spelling} i think you have a big problem as if it isn't a tractor or a farm animal they don't have the foggiest ideal as to eaven checking the fluid levels in any vehicle built in the70's 80's-90's-2000's i deal with them on technical issues at times and i have pitty on you people that rely on their inexpetise |

Re: Re: 2002 Caravan problem - electrical? BCM?
Well, it's back and seems to be working. Problem is the damn garage called and my wife went and picked it up without even asking what the hell was wrong!
![]() The bill came out to abot $200 but I think they were lining us up for something else. Had a brake sticking from time to time on one of the rear wheels, told her it needs $800 worth of brake work! ![]() My dear brother (the mechanic in the family) laughed his ass off, it needs new shoes and a bit of a cleaning up for the auto-adjuster (or something like that.) They also tried to ding us an extra $40 to get some winter tires put on but lost that sale too! ![]() Have to run, will let you all know what we find out if I get talking to the dealer again. ![]() Thanks for all the suggestions. |

Either of you guys get to the bottom of your troubles?
Would like to read the end of the story as I will probably be in for the same. Dan J |

Re: 2002 Caravan problem - electrical? BCM?
Sorry, got busy and haven't been back to the forum, or the computer with time to spare, for that matter.
I'm afraid I'm not a helluva lot of help to anyone else having the problem. Basically the information I got was that there was a loose wire or connection or something in the area under the battery which needed to be tightened. Not exactly the best $200 I've ever spent (to tighten a wire) but at least it's fixed and it's only 3 figures. Cheers PS, 1thunder, no it wasn't Mindemoya. I've heard too many horror stories from people who've taken their vehicles there. |
