Is it a Silverado body style? If so change your cabin air filter.

I had the samething in my truck. It was the cab air filter under the passengers dash, didn`t know I had one,it gets wet from the humidity,an over time,it starts to smell. When you change it out, theres coils next to the filter, try to clean them with a little bleach an water.Hard to get to!Do what you can. This should help.
