Question In need of some firebird knowledge, please reply..

I bought a 1992 firebird formula 3.1 v6 about 2 months ago.. The car is mint, had a little over 28K miles when I bought it.. Since i purchased it, I had a full tune-up done ( plugs, wires, cap, rotor ), had a new fuel filter installed, changed the oil and transmission fluid ( amsoil ), put in a new pcv valve, and a k&n air filter.. Just this past week a problem has started with the car.. It has stalled out on me twice, while barely even moving.. Also when driving at normal speeds, when I slow down the rpm's go from 1,000 to 500 and back up ( Some kind of surge going on ).. Feels like its gonna stall out every time it happens.. So today I put in a new idle air control valve, when I drove home it ran awesome, so I was psyched that it was fixed.. Cleaned the car up, when I got home, then went out to go for a ride.. Right off the bat the car stalled out.. Started it up, and it starts up flawlessly, then I noticed that it was doing the compression loss thing again .. I am real confused, it did not do it two hours before while driving, and then it just does it when ever..

Any information will help.. I plan on tomorrow changing the fuel filter again, hope it just might be clogged..

Thanks for your reply's...

I would have the car scanned for codes but sounds like a TPS or MAF issue to me. Could also be the o2's.
