The Precursor to Disc brake swap(need your opinions)
I went to the junkyard today and was quoted an LS1 rear end for $500. I'm deciding on whether to go with the front and rear LS1 disc swap on my Iroc-Z, 1LE conversion or C4 Non-HD conversion. So many choices and only a little over a thousand to do it all. C4 swap is ideal as it costs around 1400 total.
Do you think 500 is a good price for the LS1 rear or should I keep looking? What swap would you do the, 1LE, the 4thgen brakes or 90's Vette brakes? If I did the 1LE or C4, I wouldn't need the rear end, that's why i'm asking for your opinions.

As long as your up for all the fab work. The C4 rear would be awesome but the LS1 is the simpliest to install. 500 is a little more than I would pay though but then again I am cheap, lol.

I could keep looking but i'll have to make the time to get to these places, they close too early.  you don't know how many times i've missed the opportunity.They were nice though, let me walk around the yard, not like other places.
