Getting the abs code?
My abs light is on and my abs inst working and Ive tried everything I can thing of to get the code but nothing has worked. The scan tool told me to jumper pin 4 and 8 with a multimeter and it will flash the code in volts but that didnt work, all data told me to ground pin 1 and it will flash the code on the dash light and that didnt work. Anyone else have the same problem or know how to read it?

Re: Getting the abs code?
problem isnt scanning. I got to school for auto tech and I have access to at least 3 scan tools all over $5k lol. Aparently you cannot read an abs code directly from a scan tool, you have to jumper something and it will flash a code at you. my problem is I followed every set of directions that I could find on how to do this and nothing worked. So if anyone has ever had to do this, I'd like to know how
