626 in dash cd player

I'm trying to change the cd player in a 2000 626. I was wondering how do you even get into the center dash, I don't see any visible screws. And I didn't know if there are any tricks or major problems in putting a new one in. Thanks

You need to get the stereo removal tool for fords and mazdas. I saw one at an autozone. It is a u shaped tool that you insert into the two holes on either side of the stereo. I have also done it with hex wrenches.

You can take a simple hanger and bend two pieces into U shape. That's how i always do it.

yeah,... dont waste money on the 'special tool'.. coat hangers r the best..
