03 Towncar no Speed Control no brake lights
03 Towncar , speed control quit working and brakes lights are not working either . 4 ways work , tail lights work , turn signals work .
I found bad 15 amp fuse and changed , I tried the brakes that blew out the 20 amp fuse for the shift lock . I replaced that (20) gear shift worked, still no brake lights , road test still no cruise control . Help !!

That might be a bad BOO switch brake on off switch. It should be located somewhere on the brake pedal arm. Cruise control is linked to that switch. The switch might be stuck, try playing with it and see if it makes a difference.

The problem according to the dealership was a short in the steering column.
They pulled the steering wheel and repaired the short ,$ 286.00, nevertheless I am happy
