engine swap
will a 350 5.7L vin code "p"Lt1 option engine out of a 95 fit in my 1991 caprice with a 305 already in it. a quick response would be appreciated as the engine is on EBAY

The engine will bolt into the car, but there are lots of mods that you will have to do to make it work. Take everything in the cooling system except the radiator and including all hoses, and throw them away. You will also have to change the fuel pump as the LT1 requires 55lbs. minimum to run (your TBI requires 12 lbs). There's also the transmission. Your car should have a TH200-4R in it I believe - this will have to be swapped for a TH700-R4/4L60. Your computer and engine wiring harness will also require replacement.
