Question regarding a 1998 Mazda Protege LX Touring Edition

Hi there. My first time on these forums so say anything out of place, please let me know

I'm looking at the buying a:

1998 Mazda Protege LX Touring Edition
>100,000 km (or > approx 62, 500 miles)

And I was just wondering if any one had an experience with the car in terms of reliability and and interesting comments about Proteges of that generaton.

Also, I was wonder was would be a fair asking price for the 1998 Mazda Protege LX Touring Edition?

I have done some research of my own but I can't really tell what is the difference betwen the Touring Edition LX and just a normal LX.

Any advice would be appreciated.
