Engine Swap
I have read all the htreads i could find on the twin turbo engine swap and i would like to know if there is any furthr information i need t o know if i am swapping a twin turbo engine into a 1985 300zx. As far as i could tell all advice given on the engine swap was pertaining to the later modle 300zx's.
Anything could prove invaluable. |

Re: Engine Swap
Further information??? Yeah... that swap isn't a drop in swap unlike the Z32...
And you don't have to make two threads...

Re: Engine Swap
pm 'mikeman' and he should be able to give you more details... i believe you'll need to make custom motor/tranny mounts, custom driveshaft, perhaps custom manifolds to allow for the turbo's to fit, custom intercooler piping, custom prettymuch everything... good luck

Re: Engine Swap
Here's a simple equation for ya; z31 + VG30DETT = lots of money and headaches but good power in the end... now here's another one, z31 + VG30ET = not that much money, good power, and less time/headaches and you'll still get the same amount of panties.
