Gearbox Conversion
Hi possibly someone can help? FTO GPX question
Does anyone know if it’s possible to convert an Automatic gearbox to Manual? If this is possible can someone let me know where this could be done, prices and all that stuff? Ah any information on complications would be great i.e. parts etc THX FTOLARK :sun:

Yes I do believe that this can be done. Unfortunately I have no idea how much or who would be able to do it.
The reason that I know it can be done is when I was thinking of turboing my FTO I was told that I would need to convert my car to a manual as the tiptronic gearbox wouldn’t be strong enough to handle the extra power. Sorry I can't be of more help.

There's a thriving conversion market here in the UK - loads of people have converted their tip's to a manual.
