1997 transport won't take fuel

sorry, i have an intermitent problem. sometimes when i push on the gas it sounds like it puts the engine in a strain( reminds me of when the choke stuck open on older cars. cold natured.) I have no codes set. i have put new map,mass air flow,tps,fuel pump,fuel filter,air filter, and ignition control module. i changed the egr with a "known good" one. tech says converter checks out fine. he also said that the fuel pressure dropped from 42 down to 38 when it started to act up.

i know that the fuel pumps in those vans run in conjuntion with the oil pressure if theres no oil the fuel pump shuts of maybe your oil pump is in need of repair just a thought
