Immobile head rests, annoying

Have a 95 530i with electrical seats. All of the other components/functions of the seats (back, forward, etc.) work on both driver/passenger side except the head rests won't go up or down on either side. When the button is pressed to raise/lower them, the motor is still functional but there is no action. Is there manually a way to get them down? TY!
