I got the engine because when i got the car,the guy i baught it from forgot to tell me the block was cacked and he tried welding it up. lasted for about a year......then the damn thing was just pouring oil all over the place.

Just to clear some things up. Here are the drivetrain setups and chassis model numbers

3000GT's come in FWD(Z11A) or AWD(Z16A)
GTO's come in AWD(Z15A) or AWD+AWS(Z16A)
Stealths Come in FWD(Z11A), AWD(Z15A), and AWD+AWS(Z16A)

Japan has GTO's, and a couple 3000GT's imported back to japen.
We have the 3000GT and Stealth.
The rest of the work has a mix of GTO's and 3000GT's, however I dont think anyone got the stealth but us.

All the engines have the same bellhousing bolt pattern so they can be swapped between the FWD and AWD and Manual and Automatic with any problems.

It has been said Japan is the only place to get GTO's. The GTO's in the UK, Australia, etc were originally sold in Japan then bought by a Brit or Aussie and shipped over.

GTO's werent imported to be sold in the UK. They were originally bought in Japan most likely by someone who lived in Japan. Then some time down the line someone in the UK bought the car and had it shipped it over. That make sense now?

The 13G's were a "dealer option" only offered in the UK. Basicly a UK importer would install 13G's if the customer paid for them plus the install.
