Help! Before I break the glass.....
I have a 1995 Grand Marquis, replacing the passenger rear window
regulator. Have drilled out the rivets, removed the 2 top nuts, can move the glass in the track...........but, cannot get the glass panel out of the door, there just doesn't seem to be enough clearance and when you try to move it upward with both sides out of the track, it gets very, very, tight; to the point that I don't want to force it in fear of breaking the glass. Also, have removed the two-piece grommets that you bolt (had been riveted) the glass to the regulator. So, if you know the trick, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
