parts fiche?

Hi Folks,
I bought a 1996 Tahoe, 4Dr, 4x4 this week. The external is in great shape and I plan on getting a replacement carpet for it amoung other this and that parts.
I've found a number of online places that have parts searches but nothing like a complete diagram listing of assemblies with part numbers. I called the dealer looking for something like this and the parts guy told me nothing like this was ever produced.
It'd be great to get this on PDF or some such.
If anyone is familiar with a website/manual that has vechile diagrams and the part numbers, I'd appreciate some help.
