98 Taurus Tranny no movement

Ineed help!

A day after getting suck in the snow drove the car about 2 miles he local store. Came out of the store and the car would not move. There is a reading on the speedomater, it seems to increase and decrease with engine RPM. After doing this I put the Shift lever in Park and heard a loud clicking sound.

Can anyone give me any suggestions
