Talking "shakeing the bee-hive"

Last night I was driveing down what is our "Main Street" its a 2 lane cramper road with tall market strips down both sides (Great echo in this place) well the local police station is right before this stip . So I pull up to the stop sign, AND I give her HELL. Blasting down main street Echoing my exuahst and BOV, and squealing all four of my tires. I mabey made it 1/8 miles down the road when THREE cops come flying out that station. NOT ONE, NOT TWO, BUT THREE!! all three line up behind me, so I pulled the good old "maze" driveing... takeing ever turn I can. When finally like a chain reaction all their lights go on. I was like damnit... Now I have a Valentein One so I know there is no way in hell they clocked me... so they dont know my speed... the only ticket I could had possibly be pulled over for was Exibition of exaleration. But he walks to my door and ask for my licens and registration... then ask "do you know why I pulled you over tonight?", I answered "No...". He told me he clocked me at 44mph in a 30mph zone. (I knew this was BULL SHIT because they we inside eating doghnuts and I slowed down by the time they got on the road...) well I answered back "44! are you sure?" he said "yes you where going 44" I replied "I don't think so", he then said "yes you where". so then I shut up... he walks back asked some questions (about my car) and the said "Mr.Wooldridge I'll be issueing you a warning tonight for going 14 over in a 30mph zone". I was so excited! YES!! The reason he gave me a warning is because he no proof I was speeding... I could had fought him easy. But my original intention was to piss them off... I just didnt expect them to come after me haha. Well theres a good story for the record book :P

Nice. Did he see your radar or did you hurry up and take it down when they came? You should have just pointed to it in mid conversation.

Re: "shakeing the bee-hive"

Lol, lucky u... I woulda gotten busted... they woulda thrown me on the ground, impounded my car, and locked me up... I have the worst luck with cops...

They've threatened to lock me up twice... the only reason they didn't the first time is b/c I was outta my town and had an underage passenger. The second time they didn't because I was at work...

No I didn't say anything, but i did leave it on. I didn't bother takeing it down because radar detectors are not illegal here in texas.

Re: "shakeing the bee-hive"

Where do you live in Texas? I don't remember seeing your car at the Tx 3SI meet. Anyhow, I seem to remember that they can't give you a ticket for just a visual at night. And it seems like they didnt get a chance to radar your car for some reason

Very nice job!

Re: "shakeing the bee-hive"

well, radar detectors aren't illegal here... but the cops are usually harder on you if u have them... so I usually turn mine off or unplug it (I don't have tweeters, I got mine in the corner... I just pop out the cable and drop it down underneath the dash cover there... say the detector is for show and doesn't work)...
