Squeeking noise

Hey guys, I need some help please. My car is making a squeeking noise pretty bad, it kinda came out of nowhere. I have narrowed it down to the frant passenger tire or strut or something in that area. When I turn a corner, or hit a bump it squeeks. I even pushed down on the front of the car and it made the noise. Is there something that could be going out on it like the ball joint, strut, spring, some sort of bushing somewhere. Any help is greatlly appreciated. Thanks...

hmmm usually when you push up and down on a corner and it squeeks I'd say ball joint. However I'd recomend jacking up the offending tire and seeing if the tire wobbles at all and maybe peek underneath and see how the ball joint looks.

Re: Squeeking noise

that squeeking could be lower ball joints or possible a wheel bearing, is there any kind of "wom wom" sound from the car over 30mph or so? (don't get that wom wom confused with the tires)

The noise is mainly when I turn a corner and if I hit a bump.

check the tie rod end to. try to move it back and fourth. if it is hard to move then it is most likely bad.

Ok I just got done jacking the car up, I tried moving the tire back n forth and up and down and there was no movement at all. Im wondering if maybe its the strut itself maybe going bad or if the bushings which do look abit worn could be causing it. The tie rod ends have been replaced within the last couple years, do you think maybe the stuff could be abit to tight?

Re: Squeeking noise

Get some white lithium grease in a spray can and spray it liberally on your ball joint. I had a pretty decent squeek when i turned and that rid of it like it was a brand new ball joint. If it is really your ball joint, this will temporarily fix it but eventually it will have to be replaced, just not anytime soon.
