heater core on a 97-98 f-150

any advice on how to quickly remove the heater core on around a '98 f-150 with a 4.2L V6....my boss is desperate for heat, and was begging me for help. I like the begging part, but all in all, he has a kid and needs his heater working. I was thinking i had to pull out the whole dash, all the way down to the firewall, but not too sure. can anybody give me any pointers on how to do it quick?

If the heater core just has a slow leak, and isnt pouring out, try a bottle of bars leaks. It works very well, stops most small leaks, some big leaks, wont stop up your cooling system, and is compatible with antifreeze, so you dont need to drain and flush the system. This may get you by, till he can do without it long enough to replace it. Good luck.
