98 golf: remote alarms car but won't lock/unlock
hi bought a used 1998 golf. a month later the factory remote will not lock or unlock the doors, but it will activate the alarm. also the door switch/button on the front panel (near the stereo) will not lock or unlock the doors. the key itself is the only thing that will lock or unlock the door on the driver side only. any suggestions to what is wrong or what i can do to fix the problem. thanks!
