Geo Tracker Will not turn over, has no power

I put a new engine in my Tracker. It was turning over but not starting. All of the sudden it quit even turning over. I figured I had blown the ignition fuse so I changed it. Now It still will not turn over in fact even with a charge or jump to the battery I have no power. Anyone have a clue as to what is wrong or what to try next?

check to see if you may have burned up the starter from the continous cranking. also check to see if ignition switch has not gone bad
