springs, opinions?
I have a 91 turbo with tokico 5 way adj. struts, and am curious if anyone
has experience/opinions about what springs would be best. It seems the Tein S Tech are the least expensive I've found. How would these compare to say H&R, RSR, or Eibach. The car gets drive regularly but not daily. The set-up wil be mainly for auto-x and some track/lap days. Any sugestions on these or other brands you may have experience with would be appreciated. Also, on a budget trying to stay $250 or under. Thanks |

Re: springs, opinions?
I had the Eibach's with Tokikos.
It was a nice improvement, comfortable ride, not a dramatic drop. I have also had the H&Rs with Tokikos (and KYBs). Much more dramatic of a drop, much stiffer ride, better performer with more of a tendecy toward the neutral/understeer - which I prefer with the high speed racing I am doing.

Re: Re: springs, opinions?
Thanks Jekyl. I've lurked here alot, and gotten alot of my questions answered by doing so. You seem to post quite often, and having read quite a few of them, you have alot of common sense and knowledge abowt the two. I have really come to appreciate and respect your oppinions. Thanks again

Re: springs, opinions?
One of my friends has the Teins on kyb adjustables... I haven't driven that car on a course, but it seems to be hard enough and well balanced for autoX. a bit of a drop though...
I'd say tokico illumina + tein
