e39 touring

Hi,

Could someone tell me if the 520i is a 2litre or 2.2 litre. Its just that in some car advertisements its down as a 2litre sometimes and other times as a 2.2 litre. The 2.2 is not limited to the touring or something.

Sizing up at them moment between a w124 (94) 200TE (estate) or a E39 (98) 520 touring. Whilst the w124s, especially in estate guise, are a great car i am leaning towards the e39 touring as its more classy than the w124 (the w202 built quality is terrible).

Its quite easy to get info the w124 but finding it hard to get anything on the e39 touring. If someone could give me some ideas of what to look out for (known problems at certain miles/Ks) i would be greatful.
