Bent Motor Mount

I smacked my oil pan on the curb of a low ditch and cracked it. Upon replacing my oil pan I discovered that I also bent the front motor mount. It appears that the whole motor shifted to the drivers side about 3". Upon removing the front mount the motor stayed in the "off-center" posistion.

If I remove/replace the motor mounts will the engine move back over on its own? Or will there be a lot of adjusting and replacing of other components that may need to be done.

I do most of my own work (replacing oil pan / exhaust / body work) but am worried about taking the mounts off and not being able to get straight ones on will be out of my league.

Its a 1997 Plymouth Neon Espresso (DOHC).

Thanks

Re: Bent Motor Mount

Replacing the mount should fix your problem. If not, then you may have another mount that is bad.
