Do the other mods still come around?
Hi guys, I have been feeling a bit guilty about not being around here anymore. I've been so busy lately though when I do find time I find that I rarely get myself to these forums. The layout of these forums are getting so messy now and ads are everywhere that it's getting to be a bitch to navigate. Anyways I was hoping to be relieved from my moderator position by Igor but before I do that I wanted to ask if this forum was still moderated. There's a sizable list of mods at the bottom of the page, but I remember that only Del used to come here.
So that's the scoop on that, if no mods come here I'll tell Igor about it. Between you and me, in the state AF is in I'd rather hit up PreludePower.com..

Re: Do the other mods still come around?
I don't really see any other mods around at all, even del doesn't seem to be around as much. But I agree, I've been shifting over to superhonda.com and preludepower.com. You will be missed Aces!

Re: Do the other mods still come around?
i'm still here. though i don't frequent the prelude, or any forums anymore (even other boards) nearly as often as i once used to. i pop my head in this one every once in a while coz just like you i noticed a decreased presence of any moderator including myself. though i don't reply (not coz i don't want to just due to time restraints; if i start replying to posts i won't get any work done at my job, haha) i just make sure everyone's in line which 99% of the time they are.
i tried to retire from moderatorship before as my presence is limited but they just decided to let me keep the status. hell i think that's when i was even bumped up to global moderator status. so i have to make my presence elsewhere as well. Aces, they'll probably let you keep your status in spite of limited presence anyway. i expected this prelude forum to slow down substantially as a result of the discontinuance of our beloved preludes. and it has but that doesn't change the enthusiasm everyone should share, myself included. i've always had a great deal of respect for the prelude. it stands out amongst others. even though i no longer have mine, i still share the same adoration for one of honda's pioneer vehicles. thanks to the current members keeping this prelude forum up. my apologies for not being around anymore. as everyone can empathize, life goes on outside of AF believe it or not. my work, my family and everything else just gets more demanding as time goes. keep the forum alive, invite your friends. AF is a great community with a lot to offer. like Aces said, navigation isn't the easiest but that shouldn't stop an enthusiast from learning and sharing his/her experiences amongst his/her peers. happy posting!

Re: Do the other mods still come around?
Haha, well good to hear from both you mods, I appreciate the help and advice you've both offered since I joined. I know I know a hell of a lot more than I did a year and a half ago, thanks in big part to you guys. So again, thanks a lot!

Re: Do the other mods still come around?
Lucky I caught this thread. I was never a mod, but I used to frequent the prelude boards. Having taken on other projects, I haven't had the chance to be around either. It's kind of nice seeing the old schoolers around here like Aces and Del.

Re: Do the other mods still come around?
Man, this thread is like a reunion...Signal, Aces, del...the good ol' knowledgable members who didn't ask how to make their turn signals blink faster, haha (saw a thread about that).
