dash lights

I installed an aftermarket radio in my 03 trailblazer and now the dash lights dont turn on. The oil change light and all that stuff come on but the illumination for the gauges dont come on. I cant find a fuse for them and have checked the wiring and cant figure it out. Any ideas?

Does your new radio use the dimming power wire to controll its dimming like the factory radio?

Also, have you checked both fuseboxes, both underhood and the one under the rear seats?

Finally, stupid question, but is the dimming knob turned on?

Yes it does work off of the dimmer wire, I checked both fuse boxes, and the dimmer knob is on.
