Rs to a gsx

got a basket case rs, lloking to do a comeplete swap. will the engine from the same generation gsx (95-99) drop into my rs and bolt up to my stock auto tranny? any help appreicated

Sorry but no...There's two problems with that. First, the 4g63 won't simply bolt up into a gs/rs body without thousands & thousands in custom work. Second, since you said gsx, it will definitely not bolt up because the drivetrain is different. I'm thinking you would need tranny that comes from a 95-99 gst/gsx. Either way...for what you want to do to your rs...you could just buy a 95-99 gsx and even have some money left over for some upgrades.
