Question 2001 Town & Country HEAT will quit once in awhile

My 2001 Town &Country Van heat will work fine for a awhile then blow cold air. I turn the Temp Knob to cold then to hot and sometimes I get warm or hot air, then sometimes I need to turn the heat off then back on to get it to work. The blower always works, just no hot air for awhile.
Thanks for any help.

Also My AC Quit working in Florida last Oct (2005), just blew regular temp air. Could they be connected? I have about 60,000 miles on it.

Thanks again for any help!

Did you get any help with this? Im new to the forum, and im not sure what Im doing but I couldnt see any responses to your post.

I have a 2003 grand caravan that has a similar heater problem. Blows cold for a (resonably) long time while warming, then heats great. But the heat will suddnely stop and blow cold air for a while, then go back to heating. Its tough in this cold weather!
