Apexi World Sport Exhaust

I found this link:

http://www.rollhard.com/apexexhaust.htm

It says I can get the full cat-back system for under $400. Now what I would like to know is, since my birthday is coming up end of May, is should I ask my grandma ( she always buys me a couple hundered dollars worth of birthday presents, she is loaded) for this VERY cheap cat-back, or should I ask her for a CD changer for my car? I am torn between the two. The both cost about as much. I don't know too much about this exhaust, except that everywhere I read on it they say its good. Anyone have one? how loud is it? How heavy is it? If its quiet and light, I think I might go for it; but dang, I'm so tired of playing cassettes, they suck! I wanna play my CD's while I'm cruising! But what fun is cruising in a stock exhaust? I can't decide! Help!! Please!!!

drat! I wanted to do a poll, now its too late. Can one of the mods set me up a poll on this thread? Three options: Exhaust | CD changer | save your money for something else

thanks.

I'd go for the cd changer; that won't run you more than 250-300 at most. Then you can use whatever cash left from your grandma's fat money present to save for the exhaust.
Good times.

Good times.
naw, she doesn't give me the money, she buys me something(s), If the CD changer is less, she will be happy, but she won't drop another 100 or two on for me. She'll just buy me the changer and be glad to have escaped another of my birthdays fairly cheaply.

I must admit, I have taken advantage of her money when I was younger, and I feel bad about it too. Maybe I'll just get the CD changer to save her some $$. pshht, like she cares about a measly 100 bucks.

I wanna hear more opinions, si'l vous plait.

maybe you shouldnt ask for anything at all.. shouldnt take advantage of people.. if she feels like tossing a few hundred your way then take it and smile.. then go buy your exhaust after..

Why do you lfeel bad about taking advantage of her money? You yourself said, "Like she cares about a measly 100 bucks". It's a grandmothers job to spoil her grand CHildren. It's just the law or somethin.

well, 100 bucks is nothin. However, I once asked her for several thousand worth. That makes me feel bad.

But I want opinions on the CD changer and Exhaust!! not about my grandma!:alien:

Go for the cd changer; driving around listening to cassettes is not cool! The exhaust can wait, just save up. And you're very lucky to have a grandma like that too.

Do you want to go slower or faster?

CD changer will add weight, which will slow you down. (Not by much)

WS will give you a bit more power, which will speed you up. (Not by much)

So, faster or slower? There's your answer.

here's an example of a JDM FREAK! The same people who justify Spoon radiator mounts because they save 20 grams.

yeah.. you're a jdm freak. definitely.

PS. A CD PLAYER WILL NOT SLOW YOU DOWN. if a cd player slows you down, then taking a shit will speed you up.

It will, they weigh a good bit. Remember, find 16 places to save an ounce.

Weight sucks - right Jon?!? muahahahahahaha

lucky? that ain't a strong enough word, mate. If it weren't for her I be beggin on the streets. I can't give God enough thanks for her.

Well, looks like everyone says go for the CD changer. I might have enough money saved up by next christmas, I can get the exhaust then. Tapes definately do suck, they used to be cool, but now, they bite.

Thanks for the advice folks, you seem to be pretty sure of yourselves. This is why I still come here I guess, you all give pretty solid advice.

Peace.
