95 lumina - Replacing 3.1 engine

I'm brand new to these forums and need HELP.

Local pastor let his car freeze up and it broke the engine bad. I got volunteered to help him. How difficult is it to change out the engine? Can it be done thru the top or must it be done from the bottom?

Would sure appreciate any help, advice you folks can offer.
