DIC "temp"

DIC says "TEMP". How can I remove that myself?
Temp gauge reads "normal", smack in the middle of the temp range.

Re: DIC "temp"

Not sure what your question really is. Could you explain further?

Re: Re: DIC

Yes. The "Check Engine" light came on, along with the "TEMP" word in the DIC. I rid the "Check Engine" light by disconnecting/reconnecting the battery.
But I can't get rid of the blue "TEMP" word.

And I can find zero re this in the Owner Manual.

Re: DIC "temp"

Why do you want to get rid of "Temp"? This is due to fact that you have the radio display set up to show the Outside Air Temperature.

If it really bugs you then I think you might be able to get rid of the TEMP by changing your default display in radio by just pressing the DISP button on radio (right knob) until you see alternative display you want to see (which doesn't show temperature) then press and hold DISP button until you hear a beep - this is described in the owner manual.

If you don't like that option a piece of black tape would also work

Re: Re: DIC

My mistake; I thought TEMP referred to engine coolant temp.
(Actually, in my mind, I was saying "temp of WHAT?")
If it actually refers to OAT, then everything's fine.

Thanks for solving that "problem". YOU DA MAN!
