important question
hey my gs-r has been having some trouble shifting and it has gotten a lot worse recently. it wont go into gear sometimes when the clutch is pushed all the way down, and it grinds when i shift too. my clutch doesnt really feel bad but i am replacing it. i think that it might be that the bearing is messed up. i just want to know if anyone else might know what is wrong? thanks

Re: important question
Also, while you're at it, make sure all your hydraulics (clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder) are in good shape and working properly. My slave cylinder was going out and the clutch still felt normal but wasn't even disengaging 1/2 way, causing grinds and tough shifts. Just something to check on while you're working on it. Good luck

alright, i took the transmission out, which i found out is easier said than done, and when i uncovered the clutch it fell into peices and the piolot bearing was almost not turning and the release bearing was completely destroyed. so i replaced everything and now it runs like a champ. whoo hoo
