stock Cd deck removal on a 91 celica gts

does anybody have instructions or know how to remove the factory deck on e 91 celica, took my half of my car apart before callin'er quits, is there anyway to get the piece in front of the deck out without taking apart the whole dash

if anyone has instructions or diagrahms of how to do it, it would be greatly appreciated

Thats simple. You dont even need tool until you go to change the cd player. You want to pull up the gear stick cover (leather cover over the stick). The you want to pull off the cover over the radio and cup holders and things. The bottom should slide right out, at least mine did, It will be tight up top where its tucked under the dash but pull it down and out and it should pop right out for ya. then you will see 4 bolts holding the radio in just unscrew those and pull the whole unit out then on the side there will be 2 more screws holding the radio in the bracket. Uncrew all the screws and slide it right out of the braket.

it seems to be caught on somethin possibly the top of the cd player, its really pissin me off cause i cracked it a little bit

get a screwdriver in the crack at the top of the radio trim piece and wedge it open. there are 2 clamps holding it in you will hear both of them snap off and then u can take it out. then just unscrew the 4 screws holding the radio in place.
