Could anyone help me with a Bose question on my 01 Denali XL just purchased? Why does the sound seem soooo weak with a premium system such as Bose? Is there a way to check if the amp is blown? You can turn it up all the way and its just moderately loud. Is this all there is to it? This is my first really nice vehicle. So all my other suburbans have gotten aftermarket upgrades. Maybe I expect too much from this system? I'm sure from reading this forum there are people in the know about these systems. Ive learned a ton in here. Is there even a schematic for the bose system available for my 01 Denali? Thank you to any one who replies. I believe the amp is somewhere in the rear panels. And if it makes any difference, there is a 13" drop down tv with a dvd player under the rear seat(aftermarket) installed.

Re: 01 Denali Bose amp
Have you checked out the sound from the rear? Remember - this is a big, long ride so it does not sound like it would in a car!

My concern or question is this; My 06 Envoy kicks this systems butt. I know this sysytem should be louder. even in a big truck as my xl. But what makes me wonder is I get a static from the tweeter or whatever that speaker is, just to the left of my ear on the headliner. Even when the radio's off. I wonder if this has some connection with the low sound quality. I really need to find a way to trouble shoot the amp before I start replacing. I was also trying to figure out if the amp I found in the rear panel is the only amp in this system. All the associated fuses I found are good. |
