Help Findin Motor Parts

Hey
I have a 1997 Dodge Avenger with the 420A motor in it. I want proformance parts for it but havein a hard time findin them. I see Eclipse on the internet with the same motor (420A) all tricked out but where do they find all there shit. Is the 420A called a non-turbo motor for a Eclipse but I thought they made another non-turboed motor for that car as well.
ANY HELP!!!!!

Re: Help Findin Motor Parts

You can find a few performance parts for the avenger on ebay. Mostly air intakes and headers, but you can also find turbos and manifolds, and oil feed lines, lol. www.thestreetsource.net has turbos and manifolds and bov's. All the good stuff. www.exileracing.com has basically anything and everything for the avenger/sebring, and related models. They supply parts for the inline four (420a) and the V6 (I don't know what the number is for it. :S )

Re: Help Findin Motor Parts

almost everything that is for the eclipse or talon will work for the avenger too.

The 4 cylinder Avenger came with the 420A engine. This engine can be found in the non-turbo eclipse/talons. The turbo eclipse/talon had the 4g63 engine. They also put a non-turbo 4g63 in the eclipse and a 2.4L 4 cylinder version in some. The dodge neon also has a 420A block but with a reversed style head(intake in front).
The Avenger shares a similar chassis to the eclipse/talon but it is longer. Most eclipse parts will fit the avenger. Search for parts on EBAY there are a lot and there pretty cheap.
I used to have a 1998 avenger es v6. ExileRacing is a good place but it is expensive. You can ask around at ASOG.net and ASEClub. They have a lot of information. I also have some Avenger parts lying around.
