Just how hard would it be to swap the gears from a 87 teg to a 89 civic trany?

The gearboxes are allmost the same just 1 bolt will not go in without mod.
Dont aske why......you will not like the answer

so why do you want to do this.
i did a swap in my civic. i took the stock dx tranny out and put a hf tranny in and i got a lot of shit from people on this site.

Gone but a 87 teg engine in my 4th gen civic and use my old tranny .then i have to build only on new mount

Someone said that the teg. gears would be better then a D14A1 gears

Edit: and D14A1 gears are making a weird noise in 4th and 5th gear around 70mph and the shifter shakes. So i was thinking on why not try to swap the gears....i have been liiking at the teg and civic manual and sofar i cant see any reason why it should not work....but i needed someone to confirm this.....I dident know that noone had tried this
