Dodge Avenger Door Speakers Replace = Rewiring? URGENT

Somebody told me the 6.5 speakers in the door simply cannot be replaced to take advantage of the 2-way or 3-way tweeter option in my after market pioneer speakers. They told me a rewire needs to be done to change the stock infinity low frequency speakers to a HIGH FREQUENCY new aftermaket speaker.

So is that true.. if i just simply replace the speaker myself am i just gonna get low frequency sounds (bass)... or does it need a rewiring and how much usually to do this. Thanks

Ok i did this with mine i took my stock speakers out and put pioneer in mine and they dont have alot of bass its more like the high frequency is 75% and the bass is 25%

1. did u just take out old speaker put in new
2. did u lose bass
3. did u gain a high freq
4. was it worth putting them in
5. are they loud

thanks the reason being the only highs im getting is from my 6 by 9's ... the guys at Bestbuy said they gonna rewire my 6.5 for $60 which seems kinda expensive..... I just got make sure u get high (vocals from the door speakers) and not just bass

what do u think everybody is talkin about.. sayin my car needs a rewire ..
if it is just a simple change of speaker? 3 different businesses told me i need to get a rewired to ENABLE highs.

i put aftermarket speakers in my door without any problem apply nike and just do it

idk about them not being wired right, but maybe they wont sound right with aftermarket speakers idk. if so it probably wouldnt be to hard to re-wire it yourself. id be willing to be someone has done this before and posted a sticky on it also. go to the forums on asog.net and search around.
