Rossi pulling a wheelie.

I know most of the models in this forum are from cars.
But i`ve seen a few good bikes around, so here`s my first work posted here!
All of you must have already seen those great wheelies Rossi does after another win.So i`ve modified extensively a rider from a Heller kit, helmet also, and used the Studio 27 decals.
It took a lot of work to get the position just right, and having no reference work for such a modificaton, it was quite a challenge for an average builder like me.
It didn`t came out to bad at the end.
Hope you like it!

All fotos here!Don`t forget to check out some other great builds of other Portuguese modelers at our forum!

I think its very good and yes Rossi is taller and yes who cares anyway. Great effort !!!!

Soon you will be able to do the 88/89 Sito Pons NSR250 Honda as I am doing the decals for his bike. :-)

Ha, this is great! Very nice model, nice idea to make a model of Rossi doing one of his wheelies...

I never would have figured Rossi would be so tall, though! He always seemed pretty small to me.

Sjelic,i used the rider figure that comes in the 1/12 bike kits from Heller. The bikes aren`t that good, but because the kits are cheap, you can always use the rider figure, helmet, decals, and end up with a box full of bike parts you can use in other projects.
As for the rider figure, i had to reshape the helmet and the boots, because Rossi uses boots that go inside the suit and not from the outside like all the other riders, and made the small round protections on the knees and shoulders with putty.
Thank you all for your comments.
