ok im under the impression that there are several ways to increase the maf sensors abilitys

1. use a maf from a mustang (sounds good but i dont like wires)
2. use a bypass valve to allow some air to pass unnotised (sounds like a bad idea to me)
3. use a lager tube for the sensor to pass through (sounds like a good but still not best idea)
4 z32 maf (im told is plug and play, but i dont see any around to play)
5. use a resistor ( the sensor can only utilize 5 volts but may receive more at various load and vacum ranges, and i still dont like wiring)

on that note im told that using 2 or 3 and you can use bigger injectors with no ecu reprogramming simply make the injector sioze variance with the variance in the tube size sounds great , but how do i go about abstacting the sensor from it...

the other 3 will only allow a more accurate rang with stock inj. and higher output ability with a reprogram for bigger injectors......

also im told that i can get a ecu out of a 88 89 300zx and reprogram it myself and use bigger inj buit to use stockers i have to use resistors of some specific value (im geussing the valuer the inj receive)

on the note of injectors im informed that i can use high impedence inj. with less chance of them overheating

ok and on a bigger note turbos....
im told hybrids arent all that due to back pressure ok...
any idea where to get a cheap turbo that will allow the vg30 to go as high as 22 psi...... but not loose to awful much spooling (also another reason for the nitrous kit )

ok enough brain piking for now
any knowledge or corrections or elaborations would be greatly appreciated

Re: more mods

uhm, go with the 03 mustang cobra maf. or the z32 maf.

as for turbo's, i see TONS of people using a hybrid turbo with amazing results

Re: more mods

i have to i got a buddy with on (60 to 1 ) on his hoda that rips hard all up to 18 psi forged pistons rods cams etc
another stock cams forged rods and pisons with a hondata running about 15 to 22 ( normal and short burst aka passing)
burt those are also smaller motor s with less exhaus t to propell the turbines
and as a result less gasses expelled means less back pressure
thanks for the inpuit though

Re: more mods

check out the gt series turbo's... depending on what you're shooting for they've got tons of different options.. i'm looking at the gt 2871-r... flows about 420-430 rwhp... i've seen it on some sr20det's making 425 rwhp... so i imagine it'd be that or more on the z31... would spool much faster as well.... the best part is the internal wastegate and the t25 exhaust flange so it bolts right up to stock.

Re: more mods

closer examination of the emulator (aka ecu upgrade) do they not make one for the 84 to 89 ? seems like you could get one for a 26 pin module instead of the 28.....? dont know not a computer whiz but i do know a few...... gotta try aand call one buddy who has a buddy to see alkso my brother inlaw trouble shoots and repairs competers for a living and my cousin has built pc's and actually tells the help lines what to do when he calls them and talks to them
so ill have to look into it ......and my buddy has a brand new laptop that im sure he'll let me onboard tune it with

Re: more mods

thats what i was refering to its a rom emulator(computer jargen for it creates binary or hex codine that controles the timing fuel etc)
what im wondering is if it has the ability to be put into a 26 pin module instead of the 28 if so i got a few connections that may be abole to build one
so ill get back to every one and yes ill have him make them if there cost effective and people are willing to buy them
ill sell at my cost plus s&h because of the simple fact that im a car enthusist...(improper speller also) and feel everyone should be able to help another car loving freak like myself
so all of you car lovers (84 to 87 300zx) keep your fingers crossed
