finaly dynoed my 10 year old car.

yeah what the title says, running 14.5 psi i managed to hit 303whp and i backed that up with a 299whp. this is uncorrected numbers though. with the correction factor on, i was making 290whp and 286whp respectively. the software was kinda messed up when they dynoed so the tq didn't show. but i'm expecting it to match my whp if not surpass it. not bad for a stock internal 10 year old car.

well i'm really happy with my numbers and how it turns out. i was honestly only expecting to see 270whp but i really hoping to see 290, and i ended up making more so yay.

don't have pics of the dyno sheet up since i have no digital camera but i'll try to borrow one.

the air fuel ratio is steady 11.2-11.5 and my total timing was 17 degrees.

Re: finaly dynoed my 10 year old car.

Good numbers for a 10 year old car. How many miles on the car? What are your future plans for the car?

very nice. What do you think you would run at the track? At least low 13s maybe high 12s if you can hook up?

By the way I never mentioned but loving your new rims. They fit the cars image perfectly

thanks, the rims looks alot better form a side view because they're wide as hell. ( 275mm in the rear ) but the car has 125K miles on it, its been boosted since 76K miles. so the engine has been beating on for a little bit, and its still kicking.

with this power i'm thinkin i could trap like 108-109 at best casue my car is heavy and my wheels are really tall. if i got slicks , yes it could possible run a very low 13 to a high 12, but not with my driving. haha i suck.

Oh well man. 300whp on stock internals is a good achievement no matter what!

when i had my plugs gapped a .27" i was gettin 25mpg. however i was still blowing out spark from running too much boost so i had to gap them down even further down to .25" and with that small of a gap, i'm gettin 22-23mpg. still not bad i'm still gettin waay better mileage then my buddy's evo 8 and sti haha, they're gettin 13 and 16 mpg respectivly.

Great numbers Tat.

By the way, you do not need software to figure out your torque. You just need a calculator

(HP X 5252) / RPM = torque

Just figure that out at a couple of key RPM points.

oh yeah. thanks jekyl i completely forgot about that since the chart reads in mph instead of rpm so i had to quess the location. but from what i'm seeing, its around 304 lb ft of tq at 5000 rpm.
