~!HELP ME PLEASE!~ white face gauges install

ok i bought some reverse el halo glow guages for my 95 dodge avenger. I have noticed that i have a very rare avenger as it has came from the factory with the eclipse GSX and GST engine(its piped for turbo but it isn't there) with the mitsubishi blue paint and the tachometer redlines at 7 grand and it is also a 5 speed. the guages i got redline at 6.5 but thats alright because the redline points line up anyways. I have the gauges installed and the cluster back in place but i can't seem to get the white gauges to light up when the light knob is in the headlight position. i can see the lights from the old guages light up faintly behind it as they did when the stock guages were showing but as soon as i turn the the knob from parking lights to headlights the white guages go out but the old lights from the stock guages stay on. can somebody please help me, i'm stumped and more worse, frustrated. please and thank you guys in advance

theres probably a wire you need to connect somewhere, ive never heard of an avenger with a gsx motor, thats awesome you got lucky. do you think you should have bought eclipse reverse glow guages so you get the same redline?

Could you post a picture of this "rare" car. I would like to see it. The GSX and GS-T are turbocharged. Is yours turbocharged? Does your Avenger have a 420A or a 4g63? The 4 cylinder Avengers did come with 5 speeds. I am curious.
As for the gauges, if they are glow gauges you should hook them up to a lead wire from the old gauge cluster bulbs. That would make them come on with the normal light switch the same as the old gauges did.
