94 Z28 CONV. Leakage Rear Passenger Floor

94 Z28 CONV. Leakage Rear Passenger Floor & Overheating. By passed Heater core which fixed overheating problem and leakage for a few months. Car died, towed to a Machanic who said it was STARTER. Replaced Starter cost me $350. 2 days later same thing, car died. Machanic showed up then took off and never showed his face again. Towed to dealership. They said, NOT STARTER, or Alternator, it is "a SHORT"; fixed so they said. Now leakage rear passenger floor "again"; overheated "again". Engine sputters, feels weak, like it's not getting gas "chokes" ; "knocks" while driving on FWY and up hills. Battery is just 6 months old. Radiator fluid color seemed a little discolored due to rust the CHEVRON guy said when refilling the radiator with water due to my overheating. When one bypasses the heater core, can overheating still happen....fed up of being ripped off over and over ... PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS..
