Re: Trans am 3/4 time

They aren't terrible. And they sound okay.

You won't notice a power difference with your car. Really hard to notice a 2-3 HP difference on a street car.
On a car like mine, I am trying to get everything I can outta it, I am going for the best flowing exhaust I can find. Sound is second thought, performance first.

Not saying mine is a track only car or any better than anyone elses. I am actually using mine for mostly street use as well. Just got a thing for getting the most out of my hard work.

Magnaflow is an awesome catback. I would highly recommend it. It flows very well, is stainless steel and sounds very refined.

Hooker catback is another great choice for you. It's a little less expensive, has nicer looking tips (IMO) and sounds very good. Downside is that it's not stainless steel so it will eventually rust. You could also just get the hooker aerochamber muffler instead of the entire catback. That'll give you most of the HP gains, improve the sound and keep the stock pipes which are 2.75" stainless steel and mandrel press bent.

But I still would lean towards the magnaflow catback personally. Good luck.
