Help. I want to switch out the instrument cluster ( oil, speedometer, etc) from lights to cluster with gages. I have 1994 Buick Lesabre Custom. What years are interchangable? Thanks in advance for your help. JK

Re: 1994 Buick Lesabre Custom Interchangable Parts
I *just* got a gauge cluster as well, and currently have the idiot light cluster - mine is an '87, pulled the other from an '88.
I am wondering also if this is interchangable as well. Anyone? ![]() Edit: From what I have read, it looks like wiring changes would be involved - but I have no idea what these would be. This was from posts on a '90. The '87 and '88 had the gauge type of cluster option, but I just don't know how interchangable it is. I believe, for instance, a tach wire goes to the cluster area but my current cluster has no tach. The new cluster I have looks like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1987-...spagenameZWD1V Anyone have a heads up on this either? Edit 2: I tried just a little while ago, no go. Looking at the back, the wiring is totally different. Probably isn't worth it to figure it all out.

Now as far as the wiring goes, that may be a different story.
